Typical local (island) bbq spot with everything you'd expect. You know, 2 scoops rice, 1 scoop mac salad with your main dish. Katsu sauce was really good, as well as the curry sauce. Cashier was friendly, informative and patient. Restaurant had a handful of tables to dine-in, it was clean and had a bathroom.

The food is always fast and fresh. The Katsu and BBQ mix plates are my favorite. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. The convenient location and proximity to coffee and gas makes it a good place for a pit stop. It's a small establishment but tables have always been available.

A quaint little place across from Safeway. Great tasting food and reasonably priced. Garlic chicken was great, loco moco taste like frozen type burger pattie but was alright, spam musubis and chicken katsu were great too. Staff were awesome and accommodated people up to the last service minute. Came from Maui to take our son to Simpson University. This will be his local spot away from home for the next 3 years. Would recommend to all who like local hawaiian themed food..
The food was really yummy. We were driving from the Bay Area to Portland and just looked for a place to eat. This place did not disappoint! I had kalua pork 5/5, their Mac salad was really good, too! It tasted authentic! My husband had the bbq mix and my daughters had chicken katsu which they all loved. Only thing is the tables were not wiped, but the staff were friendly.
